Sand Drags. Fast 4 X 4 machines from all over Northwestern Mexico gather at the Los Patos Raceway during the month for the season’s first competition over 100 yards of sand. The event’s fanfare begins the day before with a car show.
Angler of the Year Tournament (Phase 1). Organized by JJ’s Cantinas, this event is the first part of a three phase tournament that ends in October. The tournament is held February 17 – 19 on Cholla Bay.

O.T.L. Softball. During the annual Over The Line Softball Tournament, three-person teams gather to play softball in an event that attracts more and more team participants and spectators at Cholla Bay.

The festival is held in the beginning of December at the Shrimp Plaza in Old Port.
Welcome Winter Visitors.Rocky Point offers a warm welcome to snowbirds who fly south to Rocky Point for the winter. This annual ritual happens during the Shrimp Festival at Shrimp Plaza.
